Mamet The Faithful

I may be wrong, but I think I heard David Mamet in an interview with Bill Maher say that religious faith is a good thing and this country was founded as as a religious country. A man who wrote some of the most course and foul mouthed dialogue in film believes faith is good! I am trying to find the video, but have had no luck.

You know it amazes me sometimes that people you wouldn't think would ever have a thought in the world about religion or faith really do think about these things. Sometimes, they even teach us good faithful folks a thing or two...

I was watching TBN (not entirely on purpose) and they had steve harvey on talking about how much he needs Christ in his life. I guess we never really know.

yeah, i'm not sure that what harvey is doing is legit or not (he has played for church crowds before, and the church crowd in the african-america scene is big money - witness the Medea plays), but he's definitely trying to come to the church scene. hopefully, not in the same way r. kelley did. maybe more like al green.

but you're right, CR, we never do know.
